First and foremost, this pizza is unique. I enjoy how the dough is made fresh. The service was excellent, and the African lady behind the shop was quite kind. I cannot go wrong with their pizza.

I am a pizzaholic. I'm also a bit of a pizza snob. Most pizza places in Santa Clarita are not very good. (Fortunately the old joke about pizza being like sex is true: When it's good, it's really, really good. And when it's bad, it's still pretty good.) Venice Pizzeria to me is good pizza. It's more New York style than Napolitano. The crust is perfect. But what's amazing is the toppings. They are really unique. I rarely write a review of a place after just one visit, but after tasting the al pastor pizza, I had to say something. It's the first pizza I've had in a while that was completely unique. The al pastor meat is delicious, and the "green sauce," which is apparently a jalapeño-based sauce keeps a strong, but not too strong, kick going with every bite. I'm eating leftovers now, and it's marvelous. Another thing that made my visit special is that I ordered pizza for pickup on their website, and it said the pizza would be ready at 8:09pm. I arrived to pick it up, and realized they had closed at 8pm, but they kept the store open so I could pick up the pizza. How cool is that. And the man who served me was pleasant and jovial, not grumpy at all. I can't wait to go back and try the Carne Asada pizza.

Amazing pizza for the location. I was actually shocked to find a real pizza place around here (unlike the chains). Thin crust -- the good kind. Closest to New York style pizza I've had out here in SCV. It was delicious and the customer service was great. Thanks again!

I board my horses in Sleepy Valley so I was driving through the area looking for an easy place to grab a bite that had parking for a horse trailer. I'm not even a huge fan of pizza, but this place was on the way and open. We walked in (it's a very unassuming little storefront) and I was nervous that the pizza would be a sad soggy disk with tomato soup for a sauce. Oh my God, I couldn't have been more wrong. Thank god I didn't read those last two reviews!! I can't imagine this is the same place!!! This is some of the most delicious pizza I've ever had in my life (& I used to spend my summers in New York City). It may sound weird, but get the Al Pastor pizza. Your life will be changed. They make all the dough and the toppings from scratch. It's so fresh. The owners are so nice (their teenaged son has been there both times I went and he's a nice kid!) Honestly it is without a doubt some of the best pizza crust ever made. I've been there twice now. I've had the sausage and onion pizza and the al pastor- I prefer the latter: they make a homemade green jalapeño sauce that goes on the pizza that is insane I t's so good. Seriously- try it and tell me it's not awesome....?
